ARTIST’S INSIGHT: My inspiration for healthcare facilities often starts with nature, whose ability to lower stress and promote healing has been proven time and again. For this large atrium, I focused on the California poppy. Blooms and trailing petals create a sense of wonder and interest as they float through the space, celebrating the state flower in a unique way.
