Nicknamed “The Flower Town in the Pines”, it has been a summer destination for for Charleston and other Low Country residents for centuries. It’s cooler air and abundant pines are touted for their healing properties while vibrant azaleas dot the landscape. This design celebrates the azalea through abstract blooms, greeting visitors and patients as they enter the hospital. Their quiet beauty aims to bring the comfort and happiness of summer days to the space.
